This Peñafrancia Museum is our fond tribute to INA for the nearly 300 years story of love and devotion by the Bikolanos and other countless devotees and pilgrims. It is not only a place to get in touch with bikol's rich historico-religious tradition, but it is an opportunity to get in touch with the Bikolano soul in love with INA, Our Lady of Peñafrancia.

Its centerpiece, the Diorama,is atri-dimentional presentation of the Bikolanos' Pilgrimage of Faith, guided and animated by our intimate devotion to Ina, Our Lady of Peñafrancia. The Diorama unfolds a love story, a panorama of faith and devotion from its roots in San Martin del Cateñar, Spain to its full blossoming in Naga City.

Originally concieved by the Peñafrancia Association, under the inspiring tandem leadership of the late Hon. Felix Fuentebella and his son Hon. Noli Fuentebella, the museum edifice was completed in 1993. This year, the Peñafrancia Pilgrimage Foundation has joined hands with the Peñafrancia Association and established a joint Management Board to supervise the affairs of the museum. May I single out, among many others the magnanimity of donors and the singular contribution of artists Mr. Elmer Salvosa, Mr. Felimon Sumangid and Family, and Mr. Pancho Piano; Allan and Gwen Cu and Franco Gacer, and historian Prof. Danny Gerona who have all worked every enthusiastically with us to come up with this diamond gift of love and devotion.
